The American weather forecasting model, GFS, predicts a drop in cold air masses for the first days of November, also presenting a scenario of severe bad weather with low pressure in the Aegean and significant rainfall.
The image below shows the descent of the cold air masses.
However, it is noted that this is a relatively long-term forecast from the GFS model, as weather conditions may change significantly by then.
As for the weather on October 28, strong bad weather is expected across the country, moving from west to east, with storms and heavy rainfall.
The map depicting the low-pressure systems, shown below, illustrates the bad weather predicted by GFS for the coming days until November 4.
The forecast for October 28
Meteorologist Giorgos Tsatrafylias predicts normal temperatures for the season during the three-day period of October 28, as he mentioned in a recent post.
Specifically, he stated the following:
“Neither particularly cold nor reaching the 30s by the parade!
The week ahead will feature plenty of sunshine with temperatures gradually rising to 24-25 degrees, mainly in western Greece and the Peloponnese.
Additionally, the north winds in the Aegean will remain at 7-8 Beaufort.
The forecast for rain is currently disappointing.
The atmosphere will be very clear, with good visibility and low humidity.
It’s a great opportunity for outdoor work, exercising outside, and enjoying the countryside.
Have a good week!”
