The trial for the homicide of Faye Bakogiorgou in Kypseli has been adjourned to December 2. Neighbor and witness at the trial, Thalia Gika, complained that Faye’s landlady threatened her in court.
The neighbor of Faye Bakogiorgou, Thalia Gika, spoke to OPEN and claimed that after the announcement of the recess in the trial, she approached the lawyer to ask her a question, and then the landlady told her “in front of everyone that she would kill me and get me high.”
“I’ve heard this before,” said Gika, who is also a witness in the trial. According to her, the landlady’s words were reacted to by the chairman who said “Stop, this is court“.
“It’s something he does all the time. Finally, let them look into what’s going on! She’s not alone, I insist. Suddenly they don’t talk to each other, they are on edge, and the three accused are looking at each other with hatred,” Thalia Gika concluded.
“I and the other witnesses have suffered, fortunately, the justice system has acted and I have confidence in it. I believe that on December 2 the trial will begin and the memory of my child will be vindicated,” said the father of Faye Bakogiorgou.
