Kyriakos Mitsotakis began his statement by congratulating Donald Trump on his election as he arrived at the venue where the European Political Community is meeting today in Budapest.
“I hope that NATO will remain strong to solve problems,” the prime minister continued, calling on Europeans “to be realistic.”
“Europe must have an active role in solving global problems,” Mitsotakis said in this context.
Finally, the Prime Minister referred to the issue of competition and the geopolitical issues to be discussed, calling on Europe “to understand that resources must be provided to meet new challenges.”
