An incident occurred during the Polytechnic march in Athens between students affiliated with the student faction of ANTARSYA (EEAK) and individuals affiliated with Stefanos Kasselakis.

Specifically, people aligned with the former president of SYRIZA, while Mr. Kasselakis was not present at the location, attempted to join the march in front of the block of the ML-KKE, as had been previously coordinated. They were met with pushing from the leading section of the EEAK faction (Unified Independent Left Movement) affiliated with ANTARSYA.

Indeed, as shown in a video from protothema.gr, those present exchanged pushes, and at one point, a man placed an elderly individual in a headlock.

Later, Stefanos Kasselakis arrived at the block of his supporters, accompanied by MP Rallia Christidou.
