Israel: One woman killed and several injured in Hezbollah rocket attack

Rocket fragments intercepted by the IDF sparked a fire in a neighborhood of Ramat Gan, injuring at least five people

Newsroom November 18 09:39

A rocket attack by Hezbollah from Lebanon targeted central Israel on Monday night (November 18), resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to several others. Sirens were heard across Tel Aviv and other central Israeli cities as the assault unfolded.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported that a missile was launched from Lebanon but was intercepted by Israel’s air defense system.

However, fragments from the intercepted rocket landed between the suburbs of Bnei Brak and Ramat Gan, sparking a fire and causing damage to nearby buildings and vehicles.
