The 7th meeting of the Greece-Turkey Positive Agenda is taking place today in Athens, led by the two responsible Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Kostas Fragkogiannis and Mehmet Kemal Bozay. During this meeting, Mr. Fragkogiannis and Mr. Bozay will also announce the official launch of the “Hackathon Türkiye-Greece 2024-25,” an innovative competition between young people from the two countries aimed at promoting innovation, cooperation, and mutual understanding.
The Hackathon 2024-25 focuses on the theme of Smart Cities and offers young participants aged 18-35 from both countries the opportunity to search for innovative and sustainable solutions. The competition, with three winners, will be completed in less than 3 months, with the final phase taking place in Turkey on February 20, 2025, and the award ceremony in Athens on February 27, 2025.
On Tuesday, as part of the 3rd meeting of the Political Dialogue process between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Greece and Turkey, talks will be held between the Greek Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Alexandra Papadopoulou, and the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister, Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay.
