Traffic restrictions in Athens: Kalirois and Poseidonos Avenues affected on December 5-6

During the hours 00.01 to 06.00 there will be a temporary and partial suspension of vehicle traffic on both avenues - How will drivers move

Traffic restrictions will be in place on Thursday (5/12) and Friday (6/12) on Kalirois and Poseidonos avenues due to maintenance and structural integrity checks on bridges.

In particular, during the hours 00.01 to 06.00, a temporary and partial interruption of the traffic of vehicles will take place in the right, middle, and left lanes of Kalirois Avenue, alternately per lane in both traffic streams, i.e. in the traffic stream from El. Venizelos Street (Kallithea) to Strogkonof Street (Athens) and in the traffic flow from Strogkonof Street (Athens) to El. Venizelos (Kallithea) and for a length of about 200 meters.

At the same time, during the same hours, there will be a temporary and partial interruption of traffic in the right and middle lane of Poseidonos Street from the height of its junction with Glafkos Street to the height of the Poseidonos – Syngrou intersection, in the direction of Piraeus, alternately per lane.

During the above interruptions, the traffic will be conducted from the remaining lanes. The Traffic Police appeals to the drivers of vehicles to be particularly careful when passing through the work sites and to follow the existing road signs.
