The student had fainted in the area where the 2nd and 6th P.E.A.L.s are co-located and was diagnosed with meningococcal type B. According to tempo24.news, the teenager passed away on Wednesday (4/12) after more than a month of hospitalization in the ICU. The news of her death has plunged her family, friends, and classmates into mourning.

It is recalled that the 16-year-old girl had fainted on October 24 during a lesson in a school complex housing the 6th and 2nd EPAL Patras. The girl was taken by ambulance to the hospital, underwent examinations, and was found to be suffering from meningitis.
