Natalie “Samantha” Rapnau is, according to police, the 15-year-old who yesterday, Monday, opened fire and killed two people at a private Christian school in Wisconsin in the United States.
According to CNN, citing a police source, the 15-year-old was having some problems and had expressed them in writing. Reports even suggest that a “manifesto” has been found, but authorities have not confirmed its authenticity.
The 15-year-old opened fire in a classroom where students from several classes were present, killing one student and one teacher, while her shooting wounded another teacher and five students.
Earlier in the day, the juvenile shooter, who eventually killed herself with the gun she had with her, allegedly posted a photo from inside a bathroom at the school making the “OK” sign.
Local police made it known that Rapnow was not on their “radar” and had not been on authorities’ radar until yesterday.
Police were alerted by a second-grade student with officers arriving at the school within three minutes of the call.
This morning (local time) police officers raided the house where the 15-year-old girl was staying to locate any clues that will help them understand the minor’s motive.
For now, the 15-year-old’s father is cooperating with authorities and there are no indications that the girl’s parents have committed any crime.
