Stamatis Poulis: Polakis received a fifth postponement – “It’s easy to sling mud and then hide”

"The hard part is telling the truth and having the courage to defend it," says Stamatis Poulis

Newsroom December 19 12:45

The case of slander against Stamatis Poulis by Pavlos Polakis, for which the SYRIZA MP requested and received the fifth consecutive postponement, was scheduled to be heard today by the Single-Member Misdemeanor Court of Athens.

Following the fifth postponement by Pavlos Polakis, Stamatis Poulis made the following statement on social media:

“December 19, 2024, we are at Evelpidon Court, and once again, Pavlos Polakis couldn’t find his way to the courtroom.

He received a fifth postponement instead of showing up to defend everything he has been saying against me all this time.

Because it’s easy to sling mud and then hide. The hard part is telling the truth and having the courage to defend it.

This is the difference in ethos between myself and Pavlos Polakis.”
