The Financial Times, citing sources close to US President-elect Donald Trump and sources in Brussels, says Washington has agreed not to stop supporting Kiev after the new president takes office.
The same sources report that Donald Trump will ask NATO member countries to agree to an immediate increase their contribution to the alliance.
According to FT reports, the increase the next US president is discussing is significant, namely from 2% to 5% of each member country’s GDP.
Trump will not back down, the FT reports, below a level of 3.5%.
