The moments experienced by the passengers of the fatal Azerbaijan Airlines plane just before it crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau were captured on a mobile phone by one of them.

The video has already been circulated on social media and shows damage that has occurred – for reasons as yet unknown – inside the cabin, and oxygen masks have been released.

Another video, also circulating, was reportedly taken by one of the survivors a few seconds after the crash and shows passengers trying to get themselves out of the wreckage.

Meanwhile, most of the passengers who managed to survive the crash were in the tail of the plane, Kyrgyzstan’s 24.kg news agency reported.
