Facing divorce from her husband, an influencer from the Dominican Republic is facing divorce after she kissed a singer on stage during a concert.

Miriam Cruz was captured on video going on stage and kissing the lead singer of the band Aventura on December 28.

As seen in the video, Cruz first greeted all the band members before kissing lead singer Romeo Santos after he invited her on stage to sing with them.

“I have to acknowledge that I paid dearly for my song with the dissolution of my marriage after 10 years,” Cruz wrote in a social media post which she subsequently deleted.

In the same post, Cruz tried to excuse herself by writing “I got carried away with my emotions without thinking about how this could affect my family.”

Despite the divorce, Cruz says she’s “happy” because she’s made her dream come true: “for me, it’s not just that I admire the singer but also the great man. I’ve been watching him and admiring him for quite some time.”

Finally, addressing her husband and regarding his decision to divorce her, the influencer wrote “it causes me great sadness. From the bottom of my heart, I apologize. It was not my intention to hurt you.”
