With a strategic investment step of €29 million, Poukamisas Educational Group changes the data in Private Education

Newsroom January 10 11:50

The Poukamisas Educational Group is taking its next strategic investment step, which creates new standards in the private education sector. It is proceeding immediately to the implementation of the largest investment of recent years in the field of Primary and Secondary Education in Greece, with a budget of 29 million euros.

See how this strategic investment is changing the future of education.

“Our vision of creating a school is on track for implementation. With our new strategic investment, we are capitalizing on our long educational experience and are preparing to offer high-quality educational services and to shape the global citizens of tomorrow with knowledge, principles, and values”, said the Group’s Chairman, Mr. Athanasios Pukamisas.

Learn more about the new Poukamisas Schools here.

Construction of the school will begin in the spring of 2025, with completion timed for early 2027. In March of that year, the school will begin welcoming parents and students to the facility for orientation, and in September 2027, the school will begin operations.

The “Pukamisa Schools” will operate a Primary School, Primary School, Secondary School, High School, and General High School, with a total capacity, in the first phase of its development, 1.100 students of all levels and 180 teachers and lecturers. Its building facilities will occupy 11,950 m2, its indoor sports facilities will have a surface area of 3,200 m2, open sports areas of 24,000 m2, courtyards of 4,000 m2, and green spaces and parking areas have been provided on the premises. The architectural design of the project is being carried out by the Tombazi Office with respect for the environment and enhancing the well-being of students as its key dimensions.

36 years of educational experience and financial strength
With 36 years of experience in education and the backing of the Group’s impressive financial growth over the last decade, the Group made the strategic decision to invest in the creation of a school that will provide a high-quality education. Thus, the expansion of its activities in private education with an investment of EUR 29 million is perfectly in line with its strong upward trend, its financial strength, and its carefully planned investment strategy.

The Group’s significant growth over the last decade reflects, according to the Group, the confidence that parents and students have in its educational services. It is indicative that in the aforementioned period, more than 108,000 students attended its network units and more than 1,200 teachers worked in them on an annual basis.
