A brief improvement is expected in the weather over the next few days in Greece, with general sunshine prevailing over the weekend. Severe frost remains in northern and mountainous areas, with sharply negative temperatures at night and early in the morning.
In his forecast, Yiannis Kallianos described it as “an excellent weekend with extended periods of sunshine.”
“Mini Alkyonides, but the cold will persist in the early morning and late evening, with frost forming locally in the mornings,” the meteorologist said on Mega, adding that there will also be fog in enclosed basins. He also highlighted that the snowfall so far resolves only 25-30% of the drought issue and mentioned heavy snowfalls expected in the mountains.

Meanwhile, Giorgos Tsatrafyllias posted that the weather in the coming days will be “perfect for strolls and outdoor activities.”
According to Alpha’s meteorologist, “The next few days will bring plenty of sunshine and seasonally normal cold at night and early in the morning. Additionally, northeast winds in the Aegean on Friday and east-southeast winds in the southern Ionian on Friday and Saturday will reach 8 Beaufort. Here’s the weather in 7 cities…”

In particular, he noted uncertainty about how far the cold air will spread into the country on January 24th-25th.
