Rural mobilisations: Tractors increase in the 13 blockades of Central Macedonia

Mobilisations escalate in the six regional units

Tractors remain on the roadside without blocking traffic in six regional units of Central Macedonia. However, the number of farmers participating in the protests has been increasing over the past 48 hours.

In Thessaloniki, apart from the concentration of tractors at two points at the airlift with a total of 72 agricultural machines, farmers from the east of Thessaloniki are now also participating in the dance of mobilizations. In Epanomi Square there are now 18 of them gathered.

In Imathia, traffic police report more than 70 tractors at the Nseliou junction and 17 at the Naoussa railway station junction.

In Kilkis, 38 tractors remain at the Polykastro stadium and another 30 have been counted at the entrance to the city of Kilkis. In Pella, farmers with their tractors are in three places: 18 at the Gypsohori junction, 71 at the Paralimni junction, and 56 at Krya Vrysi. In Pieria, 23 tractors are on the old Thessaloniki-Katerini highway. In the regional unit of Serres 22 tractors are concentrated on the roadside at the entrance of Alistrati and 18 at the square of the village of Mavrothalassa.
