The Executive Committee of the Panhellenic Seamen’s Federation decided at today’s meeting to declare a 24-hour nationwide strike on Friday 28 February on all categories of ships.

The strike will start from 00.01 at dawn on Friday until 24.00 at midnight on the same day.

The seafarers’ union will proceed with sending outgoing letters within the next few days, positioning itself on the tragic accident at Tempi, as well as on the issues that remain unresolved regarding the safety of maritime cabotage.
