Minister of National Defence Nikos Dendias met with Minister of Defence of Cyprus Vassilis Palmas in Nicosia.

Dendias is also meeting at the Presidential Palace with President Nikos Christodoulides, with whom they have maintained personal contact since they worked together as foreign ministers.

Both Nikos Dendias and Vassilis Palmas made posts on X after the conclusion of their meeting, stating that they discussed issues of cooperation between Athens and Nicosia and security in the wider Eastern Mediterranean region. They also discussed issues related to European Defence.
