The Imperial College Alumni Association of Greece, in collaboration with the Hellenic Cambridge Alumni Association, hosted a successful New Year Pita Cutting Ceremony on February 4, 2025.
The event brought together distinguished alumni from both institutions, fostering connections and celebrating the start of a promising new year.
Held in a festive atmosphere, the evening was led by Professor Konstantinos Aravosis, President of the Imperial College Alumni Association of Greece, who had the honor of cutting the traditional Vasilopita. The event was marked by engaging discussions, networking opportunities, and a warm sense of community.
The pita-cutting ceremony symbolized good luck and prosperity for the year ahead, with Professor Aravosis’ presence and leadership playing a key role in the event’s success. His ongoing efforts continue to strengthen the association’s role within the Greek alumni network, fostering connections and collaboration among graduates.



Following the success of the Pita 2025 event, the Imperial College Alumni Association of Greece is excited to announce its upcoming event titled:
“The Climate Crisis and Its Impact on Businesses – ESG, Taxonomy, and Decarbonization Goals”
