Seismic Tremors Continue in Santorini, Thousands Leaving the Island

Earthquakes persist in Santorini, prompting thousands of residents, workers, and visitors to leave the island.

In Fira, the narrow streets are empty, with only the occasional vehicle, resident, or TV crew passing through.

However, a woman who works in Santorini and has chosen to stay sends her own message, urging people not to be afraid.

“We’ve had a few earthquakes, but we’re not afraid; we continue working as usual and going to our jobs. I don’t know if anyone is scared, but don’t be afraid,” she said.
