The narcotics were hidden in rollers of a stone crushing machine. They were found on Thursday, February 6, on a farm in the village of Bilsdorf, in the northwestern part of the country.
The machine in question was of “Colombian origin” and had aroused the suspicions of the authorities. Following a court order, it was seized and dismantled. Hidden inside three compression rollers were found packets of cocaine, weighing a total of 889 kilograms and with an estimated value “between 80 and 160 million euros,” according to the prosecutor’s office.
