“Our city loves Santorini, and the people of Santorini love our city, as for years, many of our fellow citizens from this beautiful island have lived and been active here in Agia Paraskevi, and now they are facing this challenge,” said the Mayor of Agia Paraskevi, Giannis Mylonakis.
He continued, “With this initiative, we want to support our fellow Santorini citizens, who, in this difficult situation, left their homes and are temporarily staying in our city. In cooperation with the principals of the city’s schools, whom I thank sincerely for their cooperation, we offer the children of these families the opportunity to continue their education without obstacles and to stay connected to the school environment. We will remain by their side. With solidarity, as we must.”
