Corfu: Forensics shows homicide in the 70 year old man – His brother is questioned

Manslaughter, “indicates” the forensic examination of the body of the 70-year-old, who was found dead at his home in the village of Zygos in Corfu.

The unfortunate man was severely wounded with a blunt and cutting instrument, possibly a knife, low on the back of his chest. The fatally wounded man was located early this morning in the house where he was staying with his brother.

His brother is being questioned in the case by police.

According to what he told police, last night he found a seriously injured 70-year-old man outside their home, and when he told him to take him to the hospital he refused. He further said that while trying to give him help this morning, he breathed his last and informed relatives.

The body was taken to the hospital and the police were informed and went to the scene.
