Princess Iman of Jordan and her Greek husband become parents for the first time

Princess Iman of Jordan gave birth to her first child with her Greek husband, Dimitri (Jamil) Alexander Thermiotis.

Queen Rania announced the arrival of the newest member of the royal family by posting a heartfelt message on social media. Specifically, the Queen of Jordan shared snapshots from the hospital, where the couple is holding their newborn daughter in their arms.

In another photo shared by Queen Rania on social media, she captures King Abdullah holding his granddaughter with emotion.

Initially, Queen Rania wrote in the caption of her post: “My dear Iman is now a mother. We are grateful and overjoyed to meet Amina, the newest blessing in our family,” and continued, “Congratulations, Jameel and Iman – may God bless you both and your little princess.”

The happy news of the pregnancy had been shared by Queen Rania herself through a snapshot on Instagram. Princess Iman and her Greek-born husband posed on a beach with a sunset backdrop, revealing her baby bump.

“Both are dear to my heart, but what’s coming is even more precious. May God give us,” Queen Rania had written in the caption. “Two is a pair, three is a blessing.”

According to People, the couple married in a fairytale ceremony at the Beit Al Urdun Palace in Amman on March 12, 2023.
