In a heartbreaking message on social media, Christos Kougias says “You are treating 2 children who may be walking without their father” in a bad way and calls for respect.

“We state for the last time that our family and our father’s law firm partners will not be allowed to turn his potentially final moments into a reality show. We are no longer asking but demanding both that you leave the hospital and that you show the discretion and respect that our family and our father’s law firm partners deserve,” Christos Kougias said.

In an Instagram story the son of the criminal lawyer writes: “On the morning of Monday 24.02.25, the deterioration of our father’s health leaked to the media. From that moment we publicly asked everyone without exception for discretion, privacy, and respect. We believed that even in these difficult times for us, the journalists would respect our wishes as well as those of our father. In all the years our father has been fighting his battle with his health, he has never given anyone the right to address the issue. It was a battle he wanted to fight alone. From the moment the bad news leaked out, reporters from all the channels and from all the shows never stopped calling either us or our father’s law firm partners on the phone.”
