Associate of Chania gynecologist in alleged infant trafficking ring appears before prosecutor

An associate of the Chania-based gynecologist, who is currently in pretrial detention over alleged involvement in an infant trafficking ring, appeared before the Chania Prosecutor’s Office today (March 5).

According to Flashnews.gr, the individual is a foreign national who allegedly collaborated with the gynecologist, operating within her home country as part of the scheme.

Authorities located and arrested the woman in Italy, acting on an international arrest warrant issued against her.
