Katerina Dalaka explains why she moved permanently to Katerini – “I’ve distanced myself from everything and feel great”

Athlete Katerina Dalaka has revealed the reason behind her decision to leave Athens and move back permanently to Katerini, her hometown. Speaking to the show “Happy Day”, she explained her need for a quieter life, away from the spotlight and the fast-paced lifestyle in Athens

“I Don’t Want to Be Involved in Television”

After participating in “Survivor”, Katerina had settled in Athens. However, over time, she realized that she preferred a more peaceful way of life, closer to her family. Today, she lives in Katerini and only travels to Athens for work commitments or to visit loved ones.

“I don’t want to be involved in television. That’s why I left Athens and now live permanently in Katerini, my hometown. I’ve distanced myself from everything and feel great. I don’t miss Athens at all, and now that I’ve come for some work, I already want to leave.”

What She Says About Rumors Regarding Her Personal Life

The athlete also addressed the frequent rumors linking her to romantic relationships with public figures. She made it clear that if she were in a relationship, she wouldn’t hide it:

“If I have a relationship, I won’t hide it; I’ll show it. I don’t like playing hide and seek.”

Recently, there was speculation that she had grown close to her former “Survivor” teammate, Savvas Gentsoglou. Responding with humor, she said:

Katerina Dalaka is now enjoying her peaceful daily life in Katerini, away from the media spotlight, and says she is completely happy with her decision.
