A storm of renewable energy projects that is unable to “lift” the domestic power system is demonstrated by the numbers of the electricity transmission grid operator (ADMIE), proving once again the “overbooking” conditions prevailing in the renewable energy galaxy.
Currently, green energy projects in operation amount to 15 GW.
However, together with the applications for connection conditions submitted to ADMIE, we are up to 80 GW , with the result that the demand for new connections has already exhausted the capacity of the grids by 2032-2033.
According to the data presented yesterday by Mr. Nikos Tsafos, advisor to the Prime Minister at an event of ELETAEN, at the moment in Greece the maximum load (peak demand) that has occurred in extreme conditions (heatwave, high consumption due to air conditioning) is 11 GW.
