Train services disrupted in Paris after WWII bomb discovered on tracks

Train services in Paris were temporarily halted after a World War II bomb was discovered just 2.5 km from the Gare du Nord station, the SNCF railway operator announced

Newsroom March 7 01:45

The unexploded ordnance was found in the early hours of the morning during maintenance work on the tracks. Authorities have suspended multiple train routes, including all Eurostar services to London, until the bomb is safely removed—a process not expected to be completed before 10 a.m. local time.

Passengers have been advised to check for updates as officials work to safely defuse and remove the device.
