Murder and suicide in Thessaloniki: Man kills wife before taking his life

A shocking case of domestic violence unfolded in Sindos, Thessaloniki, where a 53-year-old man fatally stabbed his 44-year-old wife multiple times before ending his own life by jumping from the balcony of their second-floor apartment

The man, of Albanian origin, inflicted several stab wounds to his wife’s abdomen before leaping from the balcony. He sustained critical injuries and was rushed to Papageorgiou Hospital, where he succumbed to his wounds during transport.

Authorities, including forensic experts and a police investigation unit, have arrived at the scene to examine the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
