Today, according to Larissanet, forensic experts, an Appeals Court Investigator, a Fire Brigade team, and a professor of metallurgy from the National Technical University of Athens—who was earlier sworn in as a forensic expert—visited Koulouri, where the wreckage of the trains involved in the Tempi disaster is stored.
The purpose of their visit was to conduct a preliminary on-site examination of the second electric locomotive of the freight train, a part of which, according to the EODASAAM report, detached during the collision.
