Cyprus is undergoing a period of substantial transformation, consolidating its role as a pillar of stable, but also as a regional leader in security, energy and innovation in the Eastern Mediterranean.

“Geography is destiny – but how we navigate this destiny is up to us,” said the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, during his remarks at an event at the Yacht Club, as part of the 3rd Capital Link Cyprus Business Forum in New York, in the presence of representatives of the international shipping industry, investors, expatriates and Senator Lance Gooden.

President Nicos Christodoulides underlined that Cyprus’ geostrategic position, between Europe, the Middle East and Africa, makes it a natural bridge and key partner in promoting peace, energy cooperation and regional development. “Cyprus is and will remain a reliable partner, a pillar of stability and peace in a turbulent region,” he said.
