Clear weather with the temperature reaching 20 degrees – The forecast until Thursday

The temperature in the whole country will not change significantly

The weather will continue to show its good side today (13.4.2025) according to the National Weather Service. It will be clear with temperatures in the high 20s, but the menu will have local showers.

According to the EMY in the eastern mainland, Euboea, in the morning hours in Crete and the Dodecanese and after noon in the Peloponnese and western Central Greece, clouds with local rain of short duration. In the rest of the country, generally clear weather with a few clouds.

Visibility will be locally limited in the morning and evening hours in the western and northern mainland.
Winds in the west, central and north will be south-southeastern 3 to 5 Beaufort, in the rest of the country from northern directions 4 to 6 and in the southeastern Aegean Sea locally 7 Beaufort, with gradual weakening from the afternoon.

The temperature will not change significantly. It will reach 16 to 18 and locally in the Ionian Islands, the mainland and the Dodecanese 20 degrees Celsius.

WATCH FOR MAJOR TUESDAY 15-04-2025

In the Ionian Sea and the mainland clouds, partly cloudy with local rain mainly in the west, central and north (except Thrace). In the rest of the country generally clear weather with sparse clouds in places more dense. Visibility will be locally limited in the northern mainland in the evening hours. Winds will blow in the west east southeast 3 to 5 and gradually in the Ionian Sea 6 Beaufort. In the east, winds will blow from the north at 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the Aegean Sea locally 5 Beaufort. The temperature will not change significantly.

Meteorological conditions favour the transport of African dust mainly in the west. Visibility will be locally limited in the northern continents in the morning hours. Winds in the west will be east-southeast 4 to 6 and in the Ionian Sea locally 7 and possibly 8 Beaufort. In the east will blow from the north 3 to 4 and locally in the Aegean Sea 5 Beaufort. The temperature will rise slightly.

WATCH FOR THURSDAY 17-04-2025
Thin clouds in places and at times more dense with local showers mainly in the west. Isolated thunderstorms are likely in the Ionian Sea in the evening. Meteorological conditions favour the transport of African dust.

Winds in the west will blow east southeast 4 to 6 and in the Ionian Sea locally 7 to 8 Beaufort, in the evening they will turn to south southwest and weaken. In the east it will blow east northeast 3 to 5 and gradually in the northern Aegean up to 6 Beaufort. The temperature will rise slightly further.
