The Israeli Prime Minister visited the northern part of the Gaza Strip today, amid ongoing military operations in the Palestinian enclave, according to a statement from Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.
“The Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, visited the northern part of the Gaza Strip today,” his office announced, without releasing further details.
The war in the Gaza Strip erupted following the unprecedented Hamas attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, during which 1,218 people were killed and 251 were abducted. Since then, more than 50,000 people have been killed due to Israeli military operations in the Palestinian enclave, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry, which is controlled by Hamas.
