Operation to evacuate a building under occupation has been taking place since early morning in Exarchia.

According to reports, the operation started before 6am.

According to the same information, the operation concerns a building under occupation at the junction of Themistokleous and Kolettis streets.

This is a building that was occupied a short time ago while there had been online calls in support of the occupation by anarchists.

Strong forces from MAT, EKAM, OPKE and members of the State Security are participating in the operation.

On Saturday in Exarchia there were serious clashes after a concert on the hill of Strefis with an attack by unknown persons who threw a “Molotov” firebombs at riot police officers causing the destruction of cars.
