The suspect is a 17.5-year-old male who, a few days after the crime, arrived in Greece with an organized tour group. He is accused of murdering a woman on April 23 in a city in northeastern Poland.
According to law enforcement documents, the 17-year-old reportedly dragged the woman into a carpentry workshop, where he repeatedly hit her with an axe or hammer. He is also accused of burning her by pouring an unknown chemical substance on her body, and then disposing of her body in a plastic trash bin.

The man has been identified by Polish authorities, and an arrest warrant was issued against him, which was executed in Greece when he was located.
The suspect is expected to be taken to the Thessaloniki Court of Appeals to initiate proceedings related to the Polish extradition request.
