Elizabeth Pipko: Who Is Donald Trump’s close associate heading to ANT1

The former Trump confidante is set to join the Greek station as a political commentator on news bulletins and current affairs shows

Newsroom May 2 09:12

ANT1 announced on Friday, May 2nd, that Elizabeth Pipko has joined their ranks exclusively. The station’s statement highlights that her collaboration marks a significant international milestone: “The former spokesperson for the U.S. Republican Party and close aide to President Trump, Elizabeth Pipko, joins the ANT1 group as a commentator on news and current affairs. Her exclusive partnership underscores her prominence on the global stage.”

Born and raised in New York, Pipko studied at Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania. She played an active role in American politics, participating in all three of Trump’s campaigns, helping secure his 2017 victory and his 2024 re-election. She is also a sought-after analyst for major international networks, discussing current political issues.

So, who is Elizabeth Pipko? For her, Donald Trump is more than just a boss. She has described him as a pivotal figure in her life—a “divine presence” who influenced her as deeply as the rabbis of her childhood synagogues. “Trump completely changed my life,” she once said. “So, basically, my life has revolved around Donald Trump for about eight years now. I don’t think my mind has fully grasped what it means to be out of the campaign cycle, not fighting for Trump, because that’s all I’ve known.”

Her entry into Trump’s circle came at a personal low point, helping her stand back on her feet—literally and figuratively. The 29-year-old has been among his most influential women, serving as a spokesperson, campaign supporter, and trusted confidant through two elections. One of her key roles was explaining the Israeli and Jewish perspective on the Gaza conflict to Trump himself.

A frequent presence on TV panels, Pipko passionately defends Israel and criticizes progressive rhetoric and statements by American higher education figures she deems problematic or offensive. Through her movement “Jexodus” (later rebranded as The Exodus Movement), she has encouraged American Jews—many of whom traditionally lean left—to shift politically to the right.

Born in 1995 to a Jewish immigrant family and granddaughter of artist Mark Klionski, Pipko’s childhood was marked by a dedication to artistic skating. She convinced her parents to homeschool her so she could train daily for the Olympics. But a serious leg injury dashed those dreams, plunging her into depression just before turning 20.

“I knew many who applied to top universities, but I didn’t even consider it—I only wanted the Olympics. I stopped going to school, crying every day. After removing my cast, I realized I couldn’t even climb stairs. I was a 17-year-old girl behind in school, with no friends, unsure of what to do, going to the doctor five times a week just to learn how to walk again. I had nothing, and I was miserable for two or three years.”

Everything changed thanks to her mother—and her family’s dog. “My mom was walking our dog in Central Park when a photographer stopped her and asked to borrow the dog for a shoot. When he asked how she could repay her, she said, ‘You can do a session with my daughter; she’s very upset and I think it will help her.’” The next day, Pipko went for a 30-minute photo shoot in the park, simply because her mother begged the photographer. He then sent the photos to the world’s biggest modeling agency—and within a week, she signed a contract.

Her modeling career took off: she signed with Wilhelmina Models and appeared on covers of Esquire, Grazia, and Contrast. But her real breakthrough came when Trump announced his presidential bid. “Seeing everyone mock him when he said he’d run for president, and then watching him keep going, campaign after campaign, and finally win—that was so inspiring. I watched his videos, read his books, and started volunteering for his campaign,” she revealed.

Pipko holds a degree from Harvard and a master’s from the University of Pennsylvania. She has served as an official Republican Party spokesperson and has expressed that: “I truly believe Donald Trump saved my life.”
