The United States and its European allies are finalizing a proposal for a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine. A French diplomatic source stated today that rejection of this proposal would result in the joint imposition of new sanctions on Russia.
The source noted that the proposal has not yet been approved and will be studied over the weekend at a summit meeting.
