Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni had a telephone conversation today with Pope Leo IV.
“Italy appreciates and supports the efforts of the Holy See for the end of armed conflicts and for peace in all areas of crisis, in which arms have taken the place of dialogue and exchange of views,” a statement from the Italian government said.
Meloni stressed that her country has the will to cooperate with the Vatican, with the aim of the ethical development of artificial intelligence, in the service of man. “A challenge that was at the heart of the Italian presidency of the Group of Seven (G7) and which the new pontiff referred to during his meeting with the Cardinals on 10 May,” the statement added
