A bribery attempt was denounced by a well-known adjudicator after he was handed a letter asking him to intervene in a pending case with the promise of financial reward.

The letter was reportedly delivered to the judge himself by a person known to the authorities, a judicial source noted.

The letter made reference to a specific pending case and included a request for the intervention of the judicial officer, while hinting at the provision of financial exchange.

Upon reading the contents of the letter, the adjudicator immediately proceeded to file a complaint with the authorities by handing over the letter while proceedings for further action have already been initiated.
