Three students were injured today in a knife attack at a school in Pirkala, in southwestern Finland, and the suspect, a student at the educational institution, was arrested, police said today.
The three wounded did not sustain life-threatening injuries, police spokeswoman Nina Yurako told AFP, adding that police were investigating media reports that the student allegedly targeted girls during the attack.
Video published by the Finnish newspaper Aamulehti shows police vehicles near a primary school building in Pirkala, which is located about 180 kilometers north of the capital Helsinki.
