A 10-month ban from all stadiums has been imposed on Dimitris Giannakopoulos by the ESAKE sports judge.
The owner of Panathinaikos BC was punished for his actions at SEF during the second final against Olympiacos, and will also have to pay a €20,000 fine.
The penalty takes immediate effect, meaning Giannakopoulos will not be allowed at OAKA for the third or fifth game of the finals.
The ruling states he was punished for “acts that constitute disrepute to the sport.” Kostas Sloukas will pay a €1,100 fine for his behavior towards the referee.
Lessort and Papapetrou were acquitted. Ergin Ataman received a strict written reprimand. Additionally, Panathinaikos BC was fined €44,000 for the behavior of its owner, and will also have to pay an extra €10,000 due to Ataman’s conduct.
