A wild car chase involving three individuals suspected of burglarizing a house in Marathon unfolded on Attiki Odos, as police forces pursued the fleeing suspects.

The high-speed, movie-like pursuit resulted in damage to multiple vehicles, as the suspects’ car reportedly collided with several along the way. Eventually, the perpetrators are believed to have abandoned the car near the Gerakas area. It remains unclear whether they fled on foot or managed to escape using another vehicle—possibly one driven by an accomplice or even a vehicle they crashed into.

Initial reports claimed over 20 vehicles were involved, but as the investigation progresses, the number appears to be smaller.

According to police, the operation is still ongoing as the suspects remain at large. The incident began shortly before 4 p.m., when authorities received a report of a burglary on Archipelagous Street in Marathon.
