In particular, one in two French people think that President Emanuel Macron, who from next week will again have the right to call early parliamentary elections, should decide to dissolve the French National Assembly, which emerged after he called early elections in 2024, and lead the country to new early parliamentary elections.

However, only 34% of respondents believe the French president will use this right. On the other hand, 56% are in favour of bringing down the Bayrou government, after a motion of impeachment against it was voted through in the National Assembly.

Voters of the left and right-wing parties are mainly in favour of this version, while voters of the center-right parties and those close to President Macron are largely against the passage of any impeachment motion.
