A firefighting aircraft, a Canadair CL-215, made an emergency water landing in the area of Vrachati while responding to the wildfire in Feneos, Corinthia.

The plane had landed normally at sea to refill its water tanks to continue operating on the fire. However, it developed a malfunction and was unable to take off again.
The two pilots are safe, and the aircraft remains afloat on the sea surface, supported by its pontoons.
Sources from the Fire Department say they are currently working to repair the fault so the aircraft can resume its firefighting mission.
