Lady Eliza Spencer, Princess Diana’s niece and daughter of Earl Charles Spencer and Victoria Aitken, got engaged to her longtime partner, Channing Millerd, following a romantic proposal against the backdrop of the Santorini sunset.
The 33-year-old announced the joyful news via Instagram, posting photos of the proposal, accompanied by the simple yet meaningful caption: “Forever.” In one photo, she is seen smiling tenderly at her future husband while showcasing her impressive engagement ring.
In another photo, the moment is captured when her partner kneels in front of her during a romantic dinner overlooking the sea. Eliza is wearing a chic red satin dress and brown sandals.
Her family was quick to express their excitement in the comments under the post. Her twin sister, Lady Amelia Spencer, wrote: “The best news in the world! I love you both with all my heart. The perfect couple and a dream engagement,” while their older sister, Lady Kitty Spencer, commented: “I’m so happy for you. Love you so much.”

How They Met
The couple first met at a dinner in South Africa, introduced by Channing Millerd’s brother, Greg Mallet.
Since then, they have been inseparable. In a previous interview with Hello magazine, Eliza described their relationship as deeply rooted in mutual respect and love.
“We have a very strong relationship full of love and support. He’s my best friend. I feel like he’s The One. Our bond is based on trust, humor, and shared values,” she said.

Lady Eliza currently lives in Fulham, London with her sister Amelia, close to their sister Kitty. However, they often travel to South Africa, where both of their partners are from.
Upon marrying Channing, Lady Eliza will also become the stepmother of his 8-year-old son, Nate, from a previous relationship. Although the wedding date hasn’t been revealed yet, Lady Eliza has expressed interest in a wedding in Italy.
