“No instructions were given to us, no one informed us — we found the life vests under the seats on our own,” a passenger told Mega, adding: “We noticed the captain’s maneuver, and then we hit a reef. When it was time to evacuate, the captain said over the loudspeakers, ‘Go downstairs to board the boats.’”

Weather conditions in the area are good, with northeasterly winds blowing at 4–5 on the Beaufort scale.
