Tragic death in front of her son’s eyes was met by 45-year-old Elizaveta “Lisa” Guskina when she fell 88 feet while trying to take selfies just seconds after a successful bungee jump.

The tragedy unfolded on the day of the 45-year-old woman’s birthday in Pavlovsk, near St Petersburg, Russia.

The 45-year-old, who was an avid fan of extreme sports, “slipped and fell” from an 88-metre-high abandoned tower from which she had earlier made a spectacular rope jump to celebrate her birthday.

According to Zvezda channel, the 45-year-old woman, after the jump, “climbed back up the tower without safety ropes, slipped and fell.”

The last jump before her death was posted on social media, with her saying “go” just before she was left to fall into the void.
