Scarlett Johansson stole the spotlight on Monday, September 8, as she walked the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) for the premiere of her latest project, Eleanor The Great.
The star chose a floor-length Valentino gown in a soft pink shade, featuring an open back and a flowing train. She completed the look with diamond earrings and strappy high heels.

This marks Johansson’s directorial debut, and she was joined on the red carpet by her cast. Among them was 95-year-old June Squibb, who wore a burgundy suit, Erin Kellyman in an off-the-shoulder green dress, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, who posed in a classic black suit.

The film, which has received mixed early reviews, is set in the mid-1990s. It follows Eleanor Morgenstein, who moves from Florida to New York to live with her daughter after the death of her best friend, a Holocaust survivor.

When Eleanor tries to get involved at the local Jewish Community Center, she accidentally finds herself in a meeting of Holocaust survivors. Instead of correcting the mistake, she adopts her late friend’s story as her own—setting off a series of lies and misunderstandings.
Eleanor The Great is set to hit U.S. theaters on September 26.
