Who Charlie Kirk was
Charlie Kirk (Charles James Kirk), born in 1993 in Illinois, USA, was a well-known conservative activist, author, and media personality.
At a young age he dropped out of school to devote himself to political activism, founding the organization Turning Point USA in 2012 with the aim of promoting conservative ideas among youth and on university campuses. Under his leadership, Turning Point evolved into one of the most influential institutions in the American right-wing movement, spawning affiliates such as Turning Point Action and Turning Point Faith.
He also gained notable recognition through his show The Charlie Kirk Show and authoring books including The MAGA Doctrine and Right-Wing Revolution.
Kirk’s public profile was characterized by strong ideological advocacy in favor of the Republican Party and Donald Trump’s platform. He created tools like the “Professor Watchlist,” aimed at cataloging university faculty he viewed as promoting “radical ideas.” His positions frequently sparked public reaction and intense debate in the United States.
